- (a) QB was out of the "pocket" and under duress. Left guard and left tackle are 4-yards beyond the LOS at the time of the pass.
- (b) The QB, at the B25 and not out of the "pocket" but under duress, throws to an area where there are no eligible receivers - the ball lands at the B15. The left guard and left tackle are 4-yards beyond the LOS at the time of the pass.

- (a) Airborne Receiver possesses the ball 1 yard deep in the end zone - gets hit and lands on his feet at the 2 yard line - gains his balance and advances the ball to the 1 yard line where he is tackled.
- (b) Airborne Receiver possesses the ball 1 yard deep in the end zone - gets hit and lands on his back at the 2-yard line with the ball in his possession.

- (c) The ball is caught by the Center at the A32 and advanced to the A45.
- (d) The ball is caught at the A40 by the Wide Receiver and he is tackled immediately. The umpire throws the flag, as both the Left Tackle and the Center were downfield prior to the pass.
[25] 3rd and 10 at the A40. "B" intercepts a pass at the A45 and runs it back for a touchdown. During the run the "B" player makes an obscene gesture directed at the pursuing player...

- (a) While the ball is in the air the Tight End at the A40 is contacted by a Defensive Back. Another "B" player intercepts the ball at the A35 and scores.
- (b) While the ball is in the air the Tight End is contacted by a Defensive Back. Another "B" player at the LOS had tipped the ball. The pass is incomplete.
- (c) While the ball is in the air the Tight End is held by the Defensive Back. Another "B" player intercepts the ball at the A35 and scores.
[27] 3rd and Goal at the B6. The ball is midway between the hash marks (where is ball next put in play - including location between the hash marks?)

[28] 1st and 10 on the B15. The score is tied. "B" intercepts a pass on the B10 and is run O/B at the B40. During the "B" run another "B" player is called for a flagrant (disqualifying) personal foul at the B25.
- (a) The play occurs in the Second Period.
- (b) The play occurs on the last play of the Fourth Quarter.

[29] 3rd and 8 at the B40. The QB sprints towards the sidelines and is closely pursued by the Defensive End. When he is almost to the sideline at the 50-yard line he throws a pass to save the loss of yardage. The pass is incomplete.
- (a) The ball lands near no other players at the B38.
- (b) The ball is batted down at the B43 by a Defensive Player.

[30] 4th and goal at the B6. QB drops back in the pocket to pass. Tight end releases off the Line of scrimmage to the B4 where the Linebacker grabs and won't release.
- (a) QB scrambles and runs to the B4 where he is tackled inbounds.
- (b) QB scrambles and runs out of bounds at the B8.
- (c) QB throws a legal forward pass incomplete into the end zone.
- (d) QB scrambles and runs to the B4 where he fumbles and the ball rolls out of bounds through the end zone.
