[26] 3rd and 5 at the B20. As the Tight End trys to leaves the LOS, the Defensive End blocks him in an attempt to keep the Tight End from getting into his passing route. The pass is incomplete.
- (a) After a delay the Defensive Back blocks the Tight End at the knee.
- (b) Simultaneous with the block of the Defensive End the Defensive Back blocks the Tight End at the knee.
SCRIMMAGE KICKS (PUNTS):
[27] 4th down and 2 at the B45. The referee makes the ball ready for play.
- (a) Team "A" substitutes their kicking team after waiting for 10 Seconds and runs directly to the line of scrimmage.
- (b) Team "A" substitutes immediately by running quickly and directly to the line of scrimmage.
- (c) Team "A" leisurely runs in their kicking team immediately allowing the defense to make their substitutions. Then with 15 seconds left in the 25 second count - they quickly substitute a QB for the kicker.
- (d) Team "A" after waiting for 10 second and for the second time in the game runs in their kicking team directly to the line of scrimmage. Team "B" thinking that they will be caught with too many men on the field calls a time out.
[28] 4th and 10 on the A40. Team "A" from a scrimmage kick formation.
- (a) Has the kicker throw a pass that simulates the kick. On the play, while the ball is in the air - a Team "B" player knocks down the receiver at the B40.
- (b) Has the kicker throw a pass in the flat about 15 yards downfield in an attempt to make a first down. Team "B" interferes with the receiver while the ball is in the air at the B40.
- (c) Has the Kicker throw a pass that simulates the kick. While the pass was in the air, the Team "A" Receiver pushed the Team "B" player in an attempt to catch the pass. The pass is caught and the Receiver is tackled at the B30.
[29] 4th and 9 at the A20. The high punt is going to be caught at the B40.
- (a) Team "A" knocks the blocker back into the receiver and the ball hits the blocker and is downed at the B35.
- (b) Team "A" knocks the blocker back into the receiver and the ball hits the Receiver and is downed at the B35 by a Team A player.
- (c) Team "B" Blocker is attempting to block the Team "A" player and the ball hits the "B" blocker and is downed by "A" at the B35.
- (d) The ball is muffed by the Receiver - while the ball is on the ground it is accidentally kicked by Team "A" - them muffed and finally recovered in the "B" end zone by Team "B".
[30] 4th and 9 at the A20. The high punt is going to be caught at the B40.
- (a) The Receiver signals for a fair catch -ball hits his shoulder and bounces up into the air where the ball is caught by Team "A". Had the "A" player not caught the ball the Receiver could have caught the ball.
- (b) The Receiver signals for a fair catch - the ball hits him in the shoulder at the B40 and is caught by the Kickers at the B35. They advance the ball for a touchdown.
- (c) The Receiver does not signal for a fair catch but in his attempt to catch the ball he runs into a Kicking team player.
- (d) The Receiver does not signal for a fair catch but in his attempt to catch the punt he is forced to go around a Kicking team player.
