124. A64 commits an illegal touching foul whether he touches or is touched by the ball. B21's bat of a forward pass is legal. The ball becomes dead in possession of Team B on A's 39. Team B will decline the penalty for the illegal touching foul which no longer carries a loss of down. In 1997, Team B would have accepted the penalty and next put the ball in play on A's 32. 125. An accidental kick is a muff. The ball is out of bounds at its foremost point in the field of play when the ball is touched by A22 who is out of bounds. There is no free kick out of bounds foul since B21 touched the ball inbounds. B's ball on B's 6, 1st and 10.

128. The ball becomes dead when B93's foot is touching the sideline while B93 is touching the ball. This is considered a scrimmage kick out of bounds. 129. B34 tackles eligible receiver A88 beyond the neutral zone. The holding foul occurs during a running play. QB A11 runs out of bounds on A's 27 which is behind the neutral zone. 130. The foul by B92 is a personal foul and not roughing the passer. The foul occurs on A's 45 during B33's run which ends on A's 40. The spot of the foul is behind the basic spot. B's ball on B's 40, 1st and 10.
131. Team A and Team B commit live ball fouls during the free kick down. Team B's foul occurs after a change of team possession. There are three possibilities to consider with two of the three requiring that the period be extended with an untimed down. Team B could decline offsetting fouls and hope that Team A accepts the penalty for the Team B foul. The basic spot is the end of B33's run, A's 40. The 15-yard penalty would be enforced from the spot of the foul, A's 41. It would be B's ball on B's 44, 1st and 10. The period would be extended with an untimed down. However, Team A could and probably would decline the penalty for the Team B foul and the period would end. If Team B accepted offsetting fouls, it would be A's ball on A's 35, free kick. The period would be extended with an untimed down. Team A would only have to kick the ball about one yard, recover the ball, and the period would end. 139. B18's run ends on B's 30. Team A commits an illegal motion foul at the snap. B25 commits a holding foul in B's end zone during B18's run. Team A is in possession when the down ends and committed a foul before they last gained possession. The penalties offset. Replay the down. There is no other option. A's ball on B's 20, 3rd and 2.
