62. RULING: A's ball, 1st and Goal, on B's 1. B16 probably won't be receiving any more punts. The ball becomes dead when caught by A81. Team A will decline the offside penalty. B93's dead ball foul is enforced from the succeeding spot, B's 2. See #87.

66. RULING: A's ball, 1st and 10, on B's 40. A83 commits an illegal touching violation on B's 8. A74 is in possession of the ball when the down ends. Postscrimmage kick enforcement is not applicable. The 15-yard penalty is enforced from the previous spot and Team A retains possession. If Team A declined the penalty, they won't, it would be B's ball, 1st and 10, on B's 8. See #90.
67. RULING: A's ball, try, on B's 18. Touchdown. A84's shove is legal since the pass was previously touched by a player or an official. The penalty for fouls after a touchdown and before the ready is enforced on the try. See #51.

The 15-yard penalty for the dead ball personal foul by B93 is enforced from the succeeding spot, B's 29, after the 5-yard penalty is enforced. Comment: This is not the way it really happened.
70. RULING: A's ball, try, on B's 3. Touchdown. A77 did not commit an illegal batting foul since he did not bat the backward pass in flight forward to gain yardage. On the field, the covering official determines if the player attempted to gain yardage! A23 recovered a live ball in B's end zone. See #59.
71. RULING: B's ball, free kick, on B's 20. Safety. Momentum is not applicable since B21 caught the kick on B's 6. The impetus for the ball being in B's end zone is the run by B21. 75. RULING: A's ball, 1st and 10, on A's 43. The clock starts on the snap. A forward pass is determined by the point where the ball first strikes the ground, a player, an official or anything beyond the spot of the pass. All other passes are backward passes. A28's backward pass ball went out of bounds on A's 43. A's 43 is beyond the line to gain.
76. RULING: A's ball, 4th and 1, on B's 5. The clock starts on the snap. Team A will probably accept the penalty for Team B's offside foul and try to score a touchdown on the last play of the fourth quarter. Unless the ball is at rest, a muff does not impart new impetus, so the fumble by B43 provided the impetus that put the ball in Team B's end zone. If Team A declined the penalty, it is a safety. Team B would lead 24-22. It would be B's ball, free kick, on B's 20.
