2. Third and 8 on the B-44. With 21 seconds remaining in a rainy, sloppy first half, QB A11 hands off to Back A33. A33 runs to the B-16, is about to be tackled and sees there are only 12 seconds on the game clock. In order to conserve time, A33 throws a backward pass from the B-16 towards the sideline. However, the ball hits a muddy spot and stops, inbounds, at the B-19. A-82 and B-25 simultaneously recover the ball there.
3. Second and 6 on the B-40. QB A11 drops back to the B-49 and throws a forward, middle-screen pass to Back A24 who reaches up and muffs the pass at the B-42. Snapper A55 catches the muffed pass at the B-38 and runs to the B-33 where he is downed.
4. On a TRY from the B-3, Holder A8 muffs the snap and the ball rolls to the B-11. B25 picks up the ball there and runs to A's end zone. During B25's run, A42 blocked B55 below the waist at the B-14.
5. Third and 12 on the B-44 with 23 seconds remaining in the first half. QB A11 scrambles looking for a receiver. Unable to find a receiver open, A11 runs to the B-30, where, to conserve time, he throws a forward pass directly into the ground at the B-28.
6. Second and 3 on the A-32. QB A11 hands the ball off to Back A42. A42 runs toward the Line Judge's sideline. As A42 is at the A-34 and his back is to the LJ's field of vision, A42 is being tackled. Before A42 touches the ground with any part of his body other than his hand or foot, the LJ blows his whistle, believing that A42 was down. Immediately after the whistle, the LJ sees the ball rolling on the ground.
7. First and 10 on the A-40. QB A11 throws a quick slant pass to End A82 at the B-48. A82 runs to the B-3 where, with the ball held extended in his right hand, he accidentally hits the ball with his knee and the ball rolls into B's end zone. The ball continues across the end line, out-of-bounds.
8. Prior to the game, the Umpire notices #74 of the visiting team with a dark, charcoal-colored eye shield on his face mask. Umpire informs the visiting team trainer and/or head coach of #74's eye shield. Just after the first offensive scrimmage play of the game, the Umpire notices visiting A74 getting up from the pile, still wearing the dark, charcoal-colored eye shield on his face mask.
9. Prior to the game, the Umpire notices all players of one team have a 1 1/2 inch round black patch on the shoulder of their uniforms. The number '44' (in white stitching) is in the center of the patch. The coach advises the Umpire that Teammate #44 was killed in an automobile accident the previous summer.
10. First and 10 at the A-32. On the first play of the game, Team A gains 4 yards on a sweep. When the down is over, the Line Judge notices mid-calf white socks on all but two Team A players, A42 and A82. Neither of these players are wearing any visible socks.
11. Third and 3 at the B-39. Team B has two time outs remaining in the half. B25 is observed wearing bright blue leg covering (tights) and none of his teammates are wearing leg covering. All Team B players (including B25) are wearing red and black, mid-calf socks.
12. Fourth and 12 on the A-38. Kicker A7 has neither shoe nor sock on his right (kicking) foot.
13. Third and 7 on the A-22. QB A11 pitches the ball to Back A42 who runs toward the Line Judge's sideline. As A42 is at the A-27 and his back is to the LJ's field of vision, A42 is being tackled. Before he touches the ground with any part of his body other than his hand or foot, the LJ waits to be sure if the runner is down with the ball before blowing his whistle. After A42's shoulder strikes the ground, LJ sees the ball rolling loose at the A-28, where A67 falls on the ball. LJ then sees that the Umpire had dropped a bean bag at the A-27.
14. Fourth and 7 on the B-18. On a fake field goal attempt, kicker A7 is in position to kick the ball. Holder A8 throws a shovel pass, from his kneeling position, forward to Back A42 who runs to the B-9, where the ball is stripped. The ball bounces and strikes the goal line pylon and rolls into the end zone, where A54 falls on the ball.
15. Second and 10 on the B-45. QB A11 throws a screen pass toward Tight End A88. Just as A88 reaches for the ball, Tackle A77 stands up and the ball ricochets off his shoulder pad. Back A42 catches the ball at the B-48 and runs to the B-43, where he is downed.
16. Second and 6 on the A-41. On an option play to the right, QB A11 pitches the ball from the A-38 to Back A42 at the A-35. A42 muffs the ball up into the air there. B25 attempts to catch the ball in the air, but also muffs it. The ball rolls to the A-32 where B92 picks up the ball and runs to the A-28 where he is pushed out-of-bounds.
17. First and 10 on the A-4. QB Al drops back into his end zone looking for a receiver. He finally scrambles and fumbles the ball in the end zone. A2 picks up the ball in the end zone and runs to the A-13 where he is downed. During Al's fumble, A23 held B3 at the A-2.
18. Fourth and 5 on the A-48. Punter A7 muffs the snap at the A-33 and the ball rolls to the A-28. Back A22 picks up the ball at the A-28 where he completes a forward pass to end A80 at the B-49. A80 runs to the B-4 where he fumbles and A24 recovers in the end zone.
19. Fourth and 10 on the A-40. B18 catches the punt at the B-20 and returns it to the B-41, where he is downed. Team A was lined up in an illegal formation at the snap. Before one second had elapsed, B53 charges into Snapper A55 at the A-40.
20. Fourth and 5 on the B-42. B11 gives an invalid fair catch signal at the B-10, then steps aside and lets the ball go over his head. The ball lands at the B-6, takes a backward bounce and touches B11's leg at the B-10. To prevent A42 from recovering the ball, B11 bats the ball backward at the B-10 and it rolls out-of-bounds at the B-4.
21. Second and 8 on the B-30. QB Al throws a forward pass which B33 intercepts at the B-4 and returns it to the A-20. During B33's run, B22 held A3 in B's end zone and A46 threw B28 down by the face mask at the A-22.
22. Third and 5 on the A-40. QB Al drops back to the A-32 and throws a forward pass which is blocked by B37 at the line of scrimmage, directly back into All's hands. Al scrambles toward the sideline and to avoid being tackled, throws the ball into the ground at the A-35 while he is at the A-26.
23. Third and 4 on the A-30. QB Al drops back and completes a forward pass to End A88 who catches it at the B-40 and is downed at the B-30. Prior to the pass being thrown, A88 had touched the sideline at the 50 as a result of B14 "chucking" him there, before returning inbounds to catch the pass.
24. Fourth and three on the B-28. On an attempted field goal from the B-35, the kick is short and wide. It lands in the end zone and rolls over the end line. During the kick, B32 placed his hands on B44 to gain leverage for height.
25. During a TRY at the B-3, the kick is good and B73 was lined up offside at the snap.
26 On a second on-side kickoff attempted from the A-30, the rolling ball is first touched by A22 when he tries to recover at the A-38. B10 then muffs the ball on the A-38 and it rolls to the A-35 where A22 and B88 simultaneously touch the ball while B88's foot is touching the sideline at the A-36.
27. On a kickoff from the A-35, B12 catches the ball in the end zone and runs it out to the B-5, where he fumbles the ball. B12 is able to recover the loose ball at the B-10 and runs to the B-30, where he is downed. While the ball was loose after B12's fumble, B33 illegally pushed A43 in the back in B's end zone.
28. First and 10 on the B-24. QB A11 throws a forward pass which B24 intercepts at the B-4 and his intercepting momentum carries him into the end zone. B24 decides to run and then throws a forward pass (in the end zone) which A32 intercepts at the B-2. A32 fumbles at the B-1 and the ball hits the pylon on the goal line.
29. On a TRY from the B-3, Holder A12 muffs the snap at the B-9 and Kicker A7 picks up the rolling ball on the B-10. A7 runs to the B-1 where he fumbles and A23 recovers in the end zone.
30. Second and 12 on the A-30. QB A11 completes a forward pass to End A88 who is downed on the B-30. At the snap, Team B had 12 players on the field and Team A was in an illegal formation. While the pass was in the air, B44 clipped A54 at the A-28 and B52 tripped A73 at the A-29.
