I wouldn't be exaggerating to say that this is the best novel I have ever read. It stays with one character throughout, following a logical progression, without darting about from scene to scene. The attention to detail in the story shows the author's ability to use complex theories in an interesting and exciting way. There were no low points in the whole novel, it kept my attention throughout. This was probably what made the novel so gripping. I found it hard to break off to get a drink or meal as I didn't want to put it down. Using the web from various locations, I decided to print the story out as well. I carried a chapter round at a time and found myself lost when I completed it. I'm really looking forward to the follow-up which I'm sure will be just as good. I hope that this leads to a very exciting and successful career.

The Keepers of Forever is quite possibly the best Science Fiction story I have seen in the last 10 years (and I have read at least a hundred).  The novel has one of the most original plots, and kept me engrossed for a solid 8 hours (I read most books in one sitting).  When I read it, I kept thinking to myself, "this would make a phenomenal movie" (which is a real shame I am not a motion picture producer).  This book was so engrossing, I could actually see myself as part of the book (that happens to me a lot, but only with exceptional stories).  To me, this universe holds limitless potential, I could see it expanded into a mega-epic the likes of the Dune series by Frank Herbert.

I consider it [the novel] to be on the top level of the sci-fi books I have read since the mid-fifties to date.  It is almost impossible to put down once you are into the story. What is so exciting about THE KEEPERS OF FOREVER, is that in it James Dunavant creates a truly dynamic blend of my three favorite genres: Historical Fiction, Science Fiction, and Vampire Horror. After I finished reading it, I read it again!
