DO NOT buy a puppy unless you see their parents Official hip & elbow rating

Many people will try to fool you and tell you they had their dog X-rayed & they looked good but did think it was necessary to certify. My question to them would be WHY NOT? There is no excuse not to if they are breeding. There are genetic problems in all dogs and that includes the Dutch Shepherds.

This by no means is the end all to this genetic problem but it does help to make sure you are at least not getting a puppy from dogs bred with problems to begin with.
